My name is Audrey Trottier, I help individuals, couples, and their loved ones navigate life transitions with clarity, self-compassion, and intention. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and coach, my work is centered on strengthening relationships, improving communication, and helping people feel more grounded in the midst of big changes.

Engagement and wedding planning are exciting and meaningful milestones, but they can also bring stress, heightened emotions, and shifting family dynamics. The way we navigate decisions, manage expectations, and communicate during this time often reflects larger patterns that show up throughout our lives. I help my clients not just manage these challenges, but use this transition to strengthen their connection, improve communication, and build a more intentional foundation for their future.

I work with clients to:

  • Align their wedding plans with their values and priorities

  • Navigate emotional triggers like perfectionism, people-pleasing, and decision fatigue

  • Manage the challenges of blending families, setting boundaries, and maintaining relationships

  • Strengthen communication and relational skills with partners, family, and friends

  • Balance stress and joy throughout the wedding planning process

  • Use engagement as an opportunity for personal and relational growth

My work is informed by both clinical expertise and real-world experience. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in bridal styling and the jewelry industry. I saw firsthand how becoming engaged and wedding planning can bring out both the best and the most challenging aspects of relationships, magnifying communication styles, emotional triggers, and unspoken expectations.

Now, I help people navigate this transition with clarity and self-trust. Therapy has taught me that growth isn’t about perfection—it’s about becoming more adaptable, more self-aware, and more open to both the joys and uncertainties of life. That’s the perspective I bring into my work, helping my clients build stronger, more fulfilling relationships—not just with others, but with themselves and the future they’re creating.
